http://tuxgames.net/It's a ZenGamer project, Zenwalk bases on Slack too. Maybe there'll be a chance to run smth. on Vector? Never tried that, who knows? Your dream has come true! http://tuxgames.net/modules/wfdownloads/ I had created zengamer which was originally made to build games only for Zenwalk Linux but after sometime I realized that everyone should share in the fun. Now that Zenwalk has moved to Xorg-7.1 it's current repository probably won't work on Vector's or Slackware's Xorg-6.9 system's anymore since Zenwalk is installing Xorg to /usr. Hence the move to creating a repo for you guys. A word of advice, I know from the inside that Pat is actively working on Xorg-7.1 himself and it is his highest priority believe it or not so get ready and I've got the emails to prove it. -Axxium

Does anyone know if Tribes 2's linux version is covered under the same deal that essentially made tribes 2's windows version freely avalible(getting a cd key is the hard part)?
Also what are the min requirements for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory? Asking because, well...the crippling factor here is my graphics card and I'd rather not go ebaying for a new one just yet(16MB nvidia vanta...yes i know, its old, bite me, onboard is only 4mb).

Anybody who wanted to check this game, but couldnt run it before, installpkg this: http://tuxgames.net/modules/wfdownloads/singlefile.php?cid=3&lid=6and run it with /usr/games/bin/ttrooper cheers and have a merry christmass screenshot: http://tuxgames.net/modules/wfdownloads/images/screenshots/torus_trooper-screenshot.jpgalso I would like to pointout that tuxgames recently started hosting game packages for vector linux aswell (EDIT: oh,somebody already said it) . I want to build packages on 5.8, but i have no idea how/where to upload them. EDIT: Thank you,AxXium

Ur Quan Masters (former star control 2- which mutated into something very very different with the feature of multyplayer 0.6.0 ^) This game is a must have for any sci fi fan out there. http://sc2.sourceforge.net/screenshots: http://sc2.sourceforge.net/screenshots.phpIt will be prettyu sweet if you had a package for it (with audio, content, and voice included) at the repo. I'd make one when i get a normal installation of vec on my second laptop, but there is also another problem for me.I cant package this one with checkinstall. It has its own buil.sh script.

Tremulous http://tremulous.net/I got it up on my Athlon 900Mhz, 512MB RAM, 32MB ATI XPERT 2000 system without problems. Its a pretty fun game. The graphics aren't the best, but its a little different in that its a FPS/Strategy multiplayer game. Plus the unique experience of playing as an alien running on the ceiling is worth trying.

JRISK It's not a native Linux game but it is java version of the classic RISK board game, with a simple map format, network play, 1 player, hotseat, 5 user interfaces and many more features, it works in all OSs that run java 1.4 or higher. link: http://jrisk.sourceforge.net/

BUT, it was buggy when i played multyplayer. The server got out of sync a couple of times...resulting in a player hitting his fellow pawns without wanting it (same goes to computer player)...
