how do i get icewm on the sessions list ?

I use the vectorLinux6.0RC4, I have install the icewm from repository, and config it , now the question is : how do i get icewm on the sessions list ?
I search again and again , but no answer for vector.

You need a a /usr/share/xsessions/icewm.desktop for gdm to list your new icewm installation. The package *should* have included this file

run a search in your system for this file and copy it to the correct location if it's not there.

thank you,  I cannot find the icewm.desktop file , so I create it with content:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Icewm
Comment=
Exec=/usr/bin/icewm-session
# no icon yet, only the top three are currently used
Icon=
Type=Application
GenericName=

and it 's ok now.
