Viewing CHM with Firefox
« on: February 10, 2009, 11:56:39 pm »
I try to view files with .chm extension in firefox. I installed the CHM addon for firefox and when
I try to open a file firefox claims it is a binaty file and wants to save it.

Then I tried to install xchm and gnochm both asking for too many libs and files I don't
have. Abandoned that idea.

Help appreciated!

Solved chm viewing. Found kchmviwer in my VL5.8 box and it works in my new VL6 box.
Suggest to include this file in any future version of VL6.

You might want to drop a note in the Package Requests section so that the volunteer packagers see it.

xchm depends only on chmlib AFAIK.

Don't know for gnochm
