Has anyone seen the mailto links in firefox broken?
Mailto's work in Konqueror, but not in Firefox
I'm using 3.0.9 in KDE/SOHO 5.9

The settings should work:
network.protocol-handler.external.mailto  =  true
network.protocol-handler.app.mailto  =  /usr/bin/thunderbird OR thunderbird (tried both)

Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Lance

Those configs work fine for me here using VL SOHO 5.9 and Firefox v2.1, however, Thunderbird is not installed by default with VL 5.9 SOHO as Seamonkey Mail is provided as is KMail. So that is probably why it's not working for you! Install TBird using Gslapt.

I knew that config should work, but no joy.

With a whole lot of trial & error elimination, I finally narrowed it down as far as the user profile in Firefox (a couple of them simultaneously).  Given that, I figure it must have been an extension common to each of the user profiles, that broke something when upgrading the last time.

Turning-off all the extensions didn't work either, so I just recreated the user profile from scratch.  A pain in the rear, but it worked.

Thanks,

Lance
