Claws-Mail Spell Check Bug
« on: March 04, 2009, 08:02:27 pm »

I noticed that claws-mail-3.7 is in the repo of VL-6.0-STD. I installed it,
however, to my dismay spell checking does not work when set to more then
one language. Before one has finished typing a word in a mail it makes already
suggestions making it impossible to type a word.

Has anybody else this problem?

I am back using claws-mail-3.4.

Another thing claws-mail apparently lost is the ability to print with external print
command. For this reason I have to maintain sylpheed. Luckily the mail boxes of the
two mail clients are interchangeable.

Further checking tells me it is not a bug, just 'over-programming', trying to improve on
something that was/is perfectly working. Why fix something that's not broken? It
even insists to correct a word and one cannot continue typing until it is corrected. That's stupid!
