settings manager

Hi all. I just installed the latest VL 6.0Lite on an old Dell inspiron 510m 30Gb/500mb laptop and I'm pretty pleased with it.

However, I deleted all the desktop icons at first boot, only leaving the my documents icon. Foolish I know, but how, now, do I get to the settings manager and suchlike? I'd like to add icons to the taskbar (opera, volume control, wifi monitor, etc) and remove the desktop pager icon. Do I have to re-install?

No need to re-install.  :)

You can get new copies for your desktop icons from /etc/skel/Desktop.

Both IceWM and JWM are customised by manual editing of text files. Google should find several guides, here are some starting points:
