Now that I looked at it better, it seems Space is reserved for capture channels... something like "enabling recording" according to the man page.
So that probably wasn't the problem then.  :)

I didn't try Space as it wasn't mentioned in the man page.  Just got back from a meeting and listened to a song that was posted a month ago.  It was beautiful.
