added this package to VL-light bata3 ...install was success and menu item works fine so far...I added some on hand dictionaries....wordnet (dictd) , marrian webster, longmans, thesaurus..the standalone search was fine...works with typed and opened text in adie and leafpad and the scroller works for multi dictionary listings

it does not function well with siag office but this may not be a stardict issue..it did open some highlighted words but then not others and the scroll did not function...

stardict works fine here also...did not try on other web pages yet

very nice package...thanks you very much...will test on VL-6 std when I am finished here with a few light installs

cheers

edit: this package is working fine with VL6-std also..thanks

Are you trying to install stardict? If yes, you can install it using slapt-get or gslapt...

SIAG Office is not compatible with Stardict so I wouldn't expect that to work.  SIAG is older, very minimal software.  What you see is what you get.  I don't know of any add ons that work with it.
