Ok, so I gave this a go myself. I've got it to start, but if I try to import a .swf file or even open the included tutorial file it shuts down.

What's your secret?  Do you have to make changes with regedit?

Thanks in advance.

Awe, I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed when I got to here only find out it needed wine and this Windows based application  Angry . I was sort of hunting down a Linux based app. or at least something I can plug into GIMP to save as .swf

Anyway, it's good information none-the-less.  Cool

Masta@
u can always use png2swf ( from swftools) to make swf from pngs!
there is a video tutorial on how to use it with Inkscape:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwwqmMY-Lt8

but, in order for Inkscape to e able to interpolate u'll first have to install lxml:
http://www.slacky.eu/aadm/pkgs/index.php?ver=3&pkg=2239

Later, if u r into ActionScript 2.0 u can use mtasc or mtasc+swfmill
http://www.mtasc.org

And if u r into ActionScript 3.0 u can try it with adobe's flex sdk
