The cursor wont change

Hello everyone i installed the kde classic version of VL6 . when i chose a new cursor after installing the new one, the old cursor is stiil there.
at sometimes i can see the new cursor but later it goes back to the old one... how can i solve this.... and oh! what version of slackware is used for vl6 kde classic

VL6 is based on Slack 12.1, but with several updates. It uses KDE from Slack 12.2.

Are you using the KDE Control Center to change the mouse cursor settings?

i dont know how.... but after sometime, the desktop i customised shanged back to the kde classic theme..and after that when i changed the mouse themes its ok.... thanks for the reply
