I've toyed with VL occasionally, but was obsessed (possessed) with Gentoo for the longest time and have only recently found a place for VL on my hard drive. Initially, on a second hard drive, but I was so impressed with the distro and the community, that I moved it to number 1!

I just placed an order for the deluxe set to show my support in a small way for all of the hard work that has apparently gone into this.

I've been around Linux since 1999 and currently use Gentoo (of course, I can't just leave portage after all), Fedora, openSUSE occasionally, and now VectorLinux in addition to OSX and XP. While my job keeps me "on the road" more often than not, I will try to contribute when/where I can.

Thanks!

Hello phubaiand welcome to VL!

Wow, it's not hard to move from gentoo.  Only vl could do that Cheesy

Most noticeable diffferences you'll find:

- Vl works with next to no extra configuration.
- vl does not have so many packages in its repos (hi ./configure && make)

See you around!
