Quote
Basically, this package provides the hal fdi rules and acpi event scripts necesary for basic hibernate functions to work on VL 6.0.
After installing this package, you should be able to hibernate from the xfce4 logout screen

Again, I must emphasize... This will only work on xfce4-4.6.0 as referenced in the slack-required, so do not expect to manually install this package and expect functionality.
One other note. This will give you functionality for the "Hibernate" button on the xfce4 logout window. The "Suspend" button is still non-functional as of yet.

Please test and report back with suggestions/issues

After testing this package please stop back here and let us know how it works for you.
