Openoffice Languagepack
« on: April 23, 2009, 02:01:04 pm »

Hello,

I installed Oppenoffice 3.0 from the default repository with VL6.0 Light. The default language for the user interface is English. Where do I get the the German language pack for openoffice to set the user interface to German?

Thank you for your support.

Go to the Tools menu in Open Office. Near the bottom will be "Extension Manager", click on it and the Extension Manager will come up. Near the bottom left corner above the help button should be a link that says "Get more extensions here...", click on it and you will be taken to the extensions part of the Open Office website where you can then pick which language pack you want. You can then download it and install it through the extension manager.
