DivX subtitles editor in VL light
« on: April 30, 2009, 09:30:12 am »

Being new to VL, I'm in search for a subtitles editor for DivX movies.
There is no, or at least I cannot find one, such a software at VL repositories to get it installed via gslapt.
Yes, I can find alternatives for other distros or other graphic's enviroments, and found out the respective sources files.
But the issue of one by one dependecies handling makes me scary....
Wil there be some VL user with this matter already solved?
I´m running VL Light + Fluxbox on a Pentium II 400 pc.
Thanks in advance for any advice, Rafael

Choose an editor you like the looks of and then make a package request in our appropriate forum. PS: you're very brave to be dealing with video on a P400! You must have lots of patience  ;)

Thank you for your answer.
On the P400 I´ll only be editing the .srt subtitle file, not the video file itself.
So, I just need to play the video and for that the P400 is more than enough.
Now, on the subject of the subtitle editor, I´ll post the package request where it belongs.
Thanks again, Rafael
