Installing a program with a live cd
« on: April 26, 2009, 01:24:57 pm »
I am testing a computer by using a live cd of VL but I need some programs that don't come on the live cd. I know I could install them with Gslapt but if I did, where on the computer would they be installed?
The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.

VL 6.0 SOHO KDE-Classic on 2.3 Ghz Dual-core AMD with 3 Gigs of RAM

In a live session, newly installed programs would go into RAM. Of course, once you reboot it will all be gone.
