installing KDevelop based package?
« on: May 01, 2009, 05:01:01 pm »
I downloaded a package from sourceforge

http://sourceforge.net/projects/armaria/

The README and INSTALL files aren't finished and don't explain how to install.
There is no configure or Makefile.

Here is a listing of the contents

Quote
CHANGELOG  Doxyfile  INSTALL  LICENSE  README  armaria.pro  main/  other/  packages/  plugins/

The Doxyfile refers to KDevelop, which appears to be a development environment.  How do I install the amaria
package without having to install KDevelop

You could probably build it if you installed kdevelop, opened the project (armaria.pro in the top directory) and built it from there. However, the fact that there is no info in the INSTALL and hardly any in the README, and no way to setup and install without kdevelop indicates the software isn't suitable for everyday use (yet?).
Most music on my soundcloud page was arranged in programs running on VL.
