I'm running VL 6.0 and I've checked repositories including TESTING but can't see CUPS-PDF.

I find the facility to print to PDF to be incredibly useful. I know many applications such as OpenOffice include this functionality as a matter of course. But there are others that don't.

Thanks for looking!

I have not had that problem.  Did you go to cups under services in vector control center? I think you still have to put /admin or /printer after the cups url to get to the cups installer.

This isn't about installing CUPS. CUPS-PDF is a sort of printer driver that allows you to print to PDF (i.e., create a PDF) simply by using CUPS-PDF as your printer choice. I had CUPS-PDF installed in VL 5.9 Standard but I haven't bothered yet in VL 6.

What I do now is print to a PostScript driver and choose Print to File. Then I do
ps2pdf nameoffile.ps nameoffile.pdf

This has worked fine so far.
