Hola, a todos, tengo un modem telefonico cnum56-rs externo que se conecta por usb, como hago para que sea reconocido y pueda utilizarlo, veran cuando lo conecto lo reconoce como un dispositivo vl-hot, aparecen iconos en el escritorio como los de una memoria, cuando utilizo el programa de harxinfo ahi se me aparecen las caracteristicas del modem, alguien sabe como arreglar el problema, grascias.

Hi, i have a modem dial-up cnum56-rs extern usb, i do for use, whi i connect is recognized wath a vl-hot dispositive, in the desktop shows icons wath a memory usb, and i run hardx.info shows modem, caracteristics, somebody know the solution. (in spanish preferent). thanks

Hola arocha900. Ese modem es muy problematico en Linux, sin embargo hay gente que lo ha hecho funcionar. Yo lo tuve y le pedi a mi ISP que me lo cambiara por un dispositivo Ethernet, que se configuras muy facil en Linux.
De cualquier modo, aqui hay un articulo que es un poco viejo, pero aun deberia funcionar:
