shell scripts on websites
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:20:52 pm »
Is it possible to use linux shell scripts on website that is being hosted on a windows server? Or is there a linux emulator for windows? Is there a way to find out whether a website is being hosted on a windows or linux server?

Thank you! Cygwin seems to be what I need. I'm assuming that you just install it on the website right?
