Hello to everyone on Vector
« on: May 25, 2009, 06:54:28 am »
Hello everyone, my name is Robbie and I actually come from a Linux Distrobution called Sidux or unstable Debian.  So I am not new to Linux, but I am new to vector.  I use vector on an old pc running 600 mhz. Well thought I would introduce myself.  I also still run Sidux on some of my newer boxes.

Hi, Robbie,...
I've heard a lot about sidux......and I've used Debian stable, myself.  I'm using Vector on my older PIII, 1Ghz, 512 ram,...and it's really stable and fast on this box, I tell you!  I have also run Vector on my old HP Vectra 933Mhz box,...(with great results).  I think you're going to really like this little (but fully-packed) distro.

Hi Robbie, and welcome! I used to run VL on a 300mhz machine. I even tried running VL SOHO on the 300mhz machine. And while it wasn't terrible, doing that teaches a good lesson in patience! (lots of waiting for stuff to load) ;) I'm using an 850mhz machine now though.
The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.
