that is because HTML documents are code, i think your problem it is not the way the pages are saved, but the application you are using to open them, I'm guessing they are being opened with bluefish. Try right clicking the file --> open with --> your favorite browser.

I hope it works ;)

That worked ! I'm new to VL, so I'm learning. I love it so...Thanks friend and the next coffee is on me. By the way, I didn'y know that it was bluefish that opened those saved documents by default. This has been a good day. OK, I set the internal browser to use as dillo. Now it works like I'm used to.

Speaking of fish, blue or otherwise, isn't there a hackneyed but still popular saying, "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. But if you give him a fishing rod, you feed him for a lifetime."  Perhaps that is why I share your love of VL.  Its my fishing pole.  Or not. Were I a poet I might speak here of freedom instead of fishes, of riding a bike without a helmet, or driving a car without a seatbelt, or even of the lady who nursed after having a beer.  The folks who have let Gates buy their minds can't understand why we are not in jail.  With them.  But we are not.

I'm going to have to get out a Black's Law dictionary ( preferably pre-1938) to help me figure out the meaning of what you just declared.

I wouldn't bother if I were you.  Just trying to put down some reasons I love VL.
