20090610 FreeImage-3.11.0 [VL6.0]
« on: June 10, 2009, 01:22:59 am »

stretchedthin has built a new Freeimage package for VectorLinux 6.0.

Code: [Select]
FreeImage: FreeImage (Libraries supporting popular image formates)
FreeImage: FreeImage is an Open Source library project for
FreeImage: developers who would like to support popular graphics
FreeImage: image formats like PNG, BMP, JPEG, TIFF and others
FreeImage: as needed by today's multimedia applications.
FreeImage:
FreeImage:
FreeImage: License: GPL and  FreeImage Public License (FIPL)
FreeImage: Authors: Hervé Drolon, Floris van den Berg
FreeImage: Website: http://freeimage.sourceforge.net/

This replaces the later version, which does not work with fotoxx. Please ensure that the later version is removed if you have already installed it.

After testing this package please stop back here and let us know how it works for you.

Really, really, really sorry.  This FreeImage is also cr#p. My apologizes. FreeImage 3.11.0 does not support the $(DESTDIR) variable which I was relying on when I built it. (Funny thing is version. 3.12.0 does, but is no good for fotoxx).
Again, sorry. This will teach me to not to try and build something on my lunch hour.
A fix is in the works, but this time I will not upload without proper testing.
Did I mention I was sorry.
