Virtualbox installed and working...
Though I have to try xp or win2k as win98 only works in 16 color mode (yeech!)

Take a look at and scroll down to "Windows 98 guests" near the bottom of the page. You may be able to download a video driver for the virtual machine.

I'll try it grannygeek, but I just sent off for more ram and I had good luck installing windows xp in virtualbox, so I think I'll just stick with that... xp runs a bit slow but thats because I have only 512 megs in the entire box, upgrading to 4 gigs that should fix that problem I hope!

I'm thankful for everyone's help, most everything is solved, except I have yet to get ARDOUR working... And there is no package available for vector
