missing codecs in ffmpeg
« on: June 13, 2009, 08:17:19 pm »

It appears the versions of ffmpeg available for VL6.0 were not compiled with libxvid and libfaac. These are two codecs I need for my phone. Is there a reason for this or is it just an oversight?

I have tried both versions in the repository but neither seems to have the codecs that were available in 5.9 versions. Right now I have to do a two step process using ffmpeg then Avidemux (which uses an internal version of ffmpeg) to get the desired results.
