resolution 800 x 600
« on: June 25, 2009, 08:15:50 am »
Hi,
I installed VectorLinux 5 for the first time.
I do not know much of Linux and after installing the screen is 800 x 600.
I have tried to change but the maximum resolution is 800 x 600.
How can I change without redo the installation?
I hope that someone help me, this is your first time installing Linux.

best regards

stretchedthin

HI gius, welcome to Vector.

You say you are using VectorLinux 5?  If that is true then the version is many years old and predates my experience with Vector.
Just to be sure could you verify your version by typing (in the terminal)
cat /etc/vector-version
Then post back what it says.
